Citizenship application

Applying for Canadian citizenship will allow you to apply for a Canadian passport as well as vote in Federal and Provincial elections. Most permanent residents are eligible to apply for citizenship after residing in Canada for a number of years.

Proof of Citizenship

You can apply for a Canadian citizenship certificate if no other proof is available to show that you are a Canadian citizen.
